Francisca Berry-Adkins Head Shot

Francisca Berry-Adkins

Floral Designer

“Flowers are not stiff, they are lively, free-moving, and the petals are arched. My arrangements will always have a little movement to mimic that natural pattern. I design architectural, modern installations. Not the florals you’d find in your doctor’s office.”

Originally from Detroit, Francisca began her career as a wedding planner and part-time florist while studying at university. She received a scholarship for Detroit Mercy Law School, however; Francisca chose to pursue a creative career instead. She says having the opportunity to work with her hands has been the most rewarding decision. Her work has been featured in WeddingDay Magazine, MetroDetroit Weddings Magazine, Seen Magazine, and other publications.

Francisca says that her inspiration for design “stems” from working with fresh florals. She strives to create arrangements that look natural and ethereal. Francisca is a mother to the sweetest two-year-old boy (which is a juxtaposition in itself. Anyone who knows toddlers understands that they are equally feisty as they are sweet.)

Nico Mora Head Shot

Nicolas Mora

Executive Assistant

“Nico” is always the first to offer a helping hand. He helps oversee the Dallas showrooms. Whether it is allocating client inquiries or sourcing items for the office, he fields and resolves tech issues as he is our right-hand person.

Nico’s calculated, quiet determination stems from his background as an athlete. A fan of all sports, but a player of sand volleyball, he brings his passion for the game to The Interior, helping our team run smoothly and efficiently.

Mia Lyons Head Shot

Mia Lyons

To The Trade Liaison and Designer

As a graduate of Iowa State University’s College for Design, Mia’s background has positioned her into a career for creativity. As the To The Trade liaison and a Designer, you’ll find Mia speaking with clients on the showroom floor, walking through design tours in homes, or drafting 3D renditions in CAD for clients to visually reference their renovations.

Mia’s move from Chicago to Dallas brought a fresh perspective to our design team. She asks perceptive questions, finds new opportunities to stretch boundaries, and always offers help to our lead designers. In addition, we love Mia for her overall sense of style and quiet humility.

She’s never one to sit still, which means you’ll likely see her assisting Nomi, adjusting displays, or asking the team how to best support them.

Mollie Cooper Head Shot

Mollie Cooper

Purchasing and Operations Manager

Mollie is the glue that binds the design inspiration to the purchasing execution. She ensures that all orders are complete and accurate, a feat that is not easy in an industry where items are customized and in today’s climate of Covid-19 induced delays.

With a history of managing vendor relations and establishing long-lasting relationships with her clients, she truly values each interaction with our team as well as our vendors. With any renovation project, Mollie will become your point of contact who clients trust to ensure all aspects of a project are properly executed and of course exceed expectations.

Mollie relishes being a part of the design process and seeing the magic of a client’s vision brought to life from antiques to mid-century modern to contemporary- whatever the aesthetic may be.

Her natural sense of empath, the way she connects and emotionally relates to the matters and concerns brought to her attention is through her desire to listen and understand. She finds solutions and offers a helping hand, regardless of the situation.

Kali Rhodes Head Shot

Kali Rhodes

General Manager

“One of my favorite parts about my job is getting to see the different materials such as tile, wallpaper, wood, marble, and paint all come together to communicate one cohesive message and vision.”

Kali manages it all, from the office, team, vendors, and schedules. A heavy load for most, but not enough for her to be concerned. Her best asset is her inherent desire to lead and her ability to motivate the team with effortless enthusiasm.

She began her career at The Interior overseeing construction projects from beginning to end, from outlining the project, to scheduling jobs and invoicing. Although the majority of her role was dedicated to the details behind the scenes, without her efforts our clients would not feel the hospitality that The Interior is best known for from start to finish. She is now overseeing every aspect of the company and we are immensely grateful for her dedication and commitment to all that she does to ensure every needs need is met and every detail is attended to with the greatest care.
